Austin Amateur Radio Club

A Small Change in Our Treasurer Role

· Chris, KJ5DJC · Club News

We wanted to share a quick update with everyone about a change in the Austin Amateur Radio Club’s leadership.

After serving as our Treasurer, Mark Jenkins has stepped down from the role effective January 4, 2026. We want to sincerely thank Mark for the time, effort, and care he put into managing the club’s finances. Volunteering for an officer role takes real commitment, and we’re grateful for everything he’s done for the club.

To ensure a smooth transition and keep everything running without interruption, the Board has appointed Robert Schuller, CPA, as Interim Treasurer, effective January 4, 2026. Robert brings strong financial experience and has generously stepped in to help the club during this interim period while we plan next steps in accordance with our bylaws.

As always, our goal is continuity, transparency, and keeping the club on solid footing so we can focus on what we all enjoy most — radio, community, and learning together.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Board. And please join us in thanking both Mark for his service and Robert for stepping up to help.

73,
Chris Kacerguis
President, Austin Amateur Radio Club
